Despite a negative return on equity of 2.48%, Cogent Communications achieved a net margin of 1.68%. The firm recorded revenue of $116.10 million for the quarter, falling short of the consensus estimate of $153.79 million but still reflecting a 3.1% increase from the same period last year.

Analysts predict that Cogent Communications Holdings, Inc. will generate an EPS of 0.41 for the current fiscal year.
