Duos Technologies Group has successfully secured $40 million through a capital increase, countering recent stock weakness despite impressive 160 percent gains over the past year. The Jacksonville-based technology company issued 6,666,667 new shares at $6 each in an oversubscribed offering that attracted both institutional investors and long-term shareholders. This capital injection comes as the company reported exceptional first-quarter results for 2025, with revenue reaching $4.95 million—a 363 percent increase compared to the previous year, significantly exceeding internal forecasts of $4.15 million. The financing round is expected to conclude around August 1st, providing crucial resources for the company’s ambitious growth strategy.
Edge Data Center Expansion
The fresh capital will primarily fund Duos Technologies’ aggressive expansion in the Edge Data Center sector, where the company reports having a $50 million pipeline now fully financed. Plans include establishing 65 additional edge computing centers, with two new facilities scheduled to begin operations in Corpus Christi, Texas by late July. Another center is being developed in Victoria, Texas, through a partnership with Region 3 Education Service Center, designed to provide digital services to 37 school districts in South Texas. The company’s partnership with Titan Partners Group as exclusive bookrunner further demonstrates institutional confidence in Duos’ expansion strategy.
