Initial drilling results from Green Bridge Metals’ 2026 campaign at its Titac project in Minnesota have revealed visible copper mineralization. This development marks a significant step toward the company’s strategic goal of incorporating copper into the established resource base of the Duluth Complex.

Core Samples Reveal Key Minerals

The company has completed three drill holes totaling 1,196 meters. Geological analysis of the extracted core samples identified chalcopyrite—the primary copper sulfide mineral—present as disseminations and stringers across intervals ranging from 100 to 450 meters. The consistent presence of ilmenite in the cores further validates prior geological models for the site.

This drilling program is focused on evaluating copper mineralization adjacent to the existing Titac South Inferred Resource. According to a September 2024 NI 43-101 technical report, that resource is estimated at approximately 46.6 million tonnes grading 15% titanium dioxide, containing 13.3 million tonnes of ilmenite.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Green Bridge Metals?

Awaiting Definitive Assay Results

While the visual identification of chalcopyrite provides a strong initial indication of mineralization, precise copper grades remain unknown. The core samples have been dispatched to an independent laboratory for comprehensive chemical assay analysis.

The forthcoming assay data will be critical. It will determine whether the identified intervals host copper concentrations of economic significance and confirm the polymetallic potential of the Titac project. Only these laboratory results can substantiate the commercial viability of the findings.
