Nvidia Secures Billions in New Revenue Through Dual Strategic Moves

While the broader technology sector faces a notable correction, Nvidia has quietly positioned itself for its next major growth phase. The chip designer is securing massive new revenue streams, fundamentally altering its outlook for the coming years through a landmark deal with a cloud giant and renewed access to a critical market.

Strategic Wins Unlock Over $82 Billion in Projected Sales

Nvidia’s fundamentals received a substantial boost from two recent developments. First, the company finalized an exclusive, large-scale agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The deal entails supplying one million graphics processing units, specifically engineered for artificial intelligence applications, by the end of 2027. The value of this contract exceeds $50 billion.

Concurrently, regulatory approval from Washington allows Nvidia to resume exporting modified versions of its H200 chips to China. Market experts estimate this market re-entry could generate up to $32 billion in additional annual revenue.

Combined, these two channels are projected to contribute over $82 billion to Nvidia’s coffers—a sum that had not been factored into previous analyst estimates for the upcoming fiscal years.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Nvidia?

Navigating Market Headwinds and Competitive Innovations

Despite these robust fundamental drivers, Nvidia’s share price has not been immune to the current market climate. The technology-heavy Nasdaq index is in a corrective phase, applying pressure to the chip giant. On a monthly view, the stock declined approximately 12 percent, closing at 145.54 euros on Friday.

Further investor uncertainty emerged from Google’s introduction of a new algorithm named “TurboQuant.” The company states this software drastically reduces the memory requirements for running AI models. While memory manufacturers like Samsung felt immediate pressure, investors are now actively debating whether such efficiency gains could, in the long term, challenge Nvidia’s dominance in the logic chip segment.

Strong Forecasts Contrast with Insider Selling Activity

Major investment banks remain largely undeterred by these technical debates, focusing instead on strong corporate guidance. Rosenblatt Securities maintains a price target of $325 per share. For the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, Nvidia is targeting revenue of $78 billion, significantly surpassing market expectations of $72.6 billion.

However, one detail is giving some investors pause. Over the past 90 days, company insiders, including the Chief Financial Officer, sold shares worth approximately $253 million. The precise impact of the new mega-deals on Nvidia’s profit margins will be a key focus when management presents the next quarterly results on May 20.
